Having been told that shooting would only be permitted from the sounds desk, I was fearing this gig a little because I couldn’t lay may hands on a 300mm/400 f2.8. And certainly have won the lottery to be able to afford one! (more…)

The Stone Roses reunion has struck a bizarre chord with me. Am I a fan? Yes. Have I idolised them? Yes. Is one of my biggest regrets being too slow to acknowledge Ian Brown when I accidentally bumped into him on the corner of Notting Hill Gate and Pembridge Road? Definitely.
So surely I should be climbing the walls with excitement, and hitting F5 on Ticketmaster at 8.55am on Friday morning for Heaton Park? Well, no, not really. (more…)
